About Mr. Burns
I thought I would take a few moments to tell you a little bit about me.
I am married to Mrs. Burns (Heather) who teaches 10 year olds. We have 3 children, Terry Jr. 21, married to Julia and a Pastor and university student in Canada. Our daughter Caroline is 20 and studies Social Work at the University of Western Ontario (engaged to be married this summer to Dean) and Stephen 17, a senior here at the school. We will get a new picture soon.
My kids will tell you that I did a pretty good job raising them and I approach my school relationships with all kids with a father's heart.
We are proudly Canadian! We call the Ottawa area home and still have a house in a little town called Petrolia Ontario where I held my last posting.
I hold degrees in Economics from Carleton U in Ottawa and in Biblical Studies from Springfield Missouri. I am currently pursuing a degree in Education from South Eastern University in Florida. I am in my third year of teaching and my 3rd career. I have previously held Marketing Management positions with Canadian organizations in both the private and public sector. An ordained minister, I pastored Canadian churches for ten years and am still active in ministry here in Ukraine.
I have many passions! I love people, the outdoors and you will see me jogging a few nights a week. It is not a pretty sight but I am fighting getting old with everything in me. I love all junk food and it shows!
