Personal Relationships

Relationships are very important to us. All of our relationships will be governed by the “Platinum Rule”!

 The Platinum rule

“In the things we say and do, we will treat others much better than we expect to be treated. We will go the extra mile in showing love, respect and honor!”

I am the father of three grown up children and have learned a few things in my lifetime. My kids tell me I did a pretty good job raising them. I will pretty much treat you the same way that I have treated them!

Our working relationship

My part

  • I will honor my responsibilities to students, their families and to KIS by doing my best at all times and to teach the curriculum and success orientations as I have been asked to do.

  • I will provide my students with a well managed, safe and positive classroom environment each day.

  • I will clearly communicate expectations for assignments, projects and tests ahead of time and will only assess what I have clearly taught and communicated.

  • I will structure lessons with many different approaches and styles to keep things fresh, fun and fair for all learners.

  • I will ask a lot of you because I want you to grow as people and as students this year.

  • I will post all communications and assignments on the website. Other important information will also be posted on the bulletin board.

Your part

  • You will come to school each day rested, on time, ready to work hard and to work smart

  •  You will finish your work on time and to do your best work.

  • You will honor school and classroom rules and procedures. This will always be a matter of choice, but I hope you will choose wisely! (See daily proceedures class)
